2. Data minimisation by design
This tool is built to process as little data as possible. The pubspec.yaml or pubspec.lock you paste is parsed locally in your browser only. Only the individual, publicly available package names are sent to our server to look up their SwiftPM status. The full content of your file never leaves your browser and is not stored by us.
3. Server log data
When you visit the site we automatically process data your browser transmits: IP address, date and time, requested resource, HTTP status, amount of data transferred, referrer URL and user agent. The purpose is delivering the website and ensuring stability and security. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure, error-free operation). Log data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the stated purposes.
4. Cookies
We set a single, strictly necessary cookie: locale stores your chosen language (en/de). No tracking takes place. Legal basis: § 25(2)(2) TDDDG (technically required) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. You can delete or block cookies in your browser at any time.
5. Language detection
For automatic language selection we evaluate your browser's Accept-Language header. Your chosen language is then stored in the functional locale cookie (see section 4). Your IP address is not evaluated for location purposes.
6. Fetching package data from pub.dev (Google)
To answer your request we fetch public package metadata and archives from pub.dev, operated by Google. This request is made server-side from our server — your IP address is not transmitted to Google. Only public package names are sent, no personal data.
7. Fonts
Fonts are served locally from our server (self-hosted). No connection to Google Fonts or any other third party is made.
8. No tracking, no ads
We use no analytics or tracking services, no profiling and no advertising networks.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object (Art. 21) to processing based on legitimate interests. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. To exercise these rights, contact the email address given in the imprint.
